| Pim Vuik(1962) when dutch photographer pim finished high school he had no idea what he wanted to do next. the photo shop in his home town happened to be looking for an assistant to develop films and pim took the job. soon he found himself wanting to shoot pictures instead of just develop them. he started with wedding,sports and press photography and at the same time attended the school of photography in the hague. soon after he made his debut in the advertising world. today 20 years ,he works for renowned (inter)national clients. what drives pim in his work is the challenge of creating an image out of a sketch,the joy of surprising a client by using different angles or light and the satisfaction of contributing to the idea behind an image. |
